Sunrise Bridal Photo session at a rainy Vizcaya
It was a Saturday morning in November 2022, and we were excited to capture some beautiful shots in the garden’s stunning surroundings, but the weather had other plans. As soon as we arrived, the heavens opened, and heavy rain began to pour down upon us. Despite the unexpected deluge, however, everyone involved was in great spirits and determined to make the most of the situation.
Armed with umbrellas and good humor, we proceeded to capture some truly unique shots that we never could have planned for. The rain added an extra layer of texture and beauty to the photos, and our clients were happy to embrace the wet and wild atmosphere. We were also fortunate to have the whole garden to ourselves for 2.5 hours, thanks to Vizcaya’s Premium Sunrise Permit, which gave us the freedom to explore and experiment without any interruptions.
Despite the challenging weather, we all had a blast and laughed our way through the photoshoot, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We’re already looking forward to our next sunrise photoshoot (minus the rain, of course!), and we can’t wait to see what kind of magic we’ll capture next.”
